15aug.JPGFriend visit5 viewsToday I didn't join the tour as I was going to meet some friends that lived around Helsinki. Unfortunately I had not enough time to visit them all. After all I only had time to visit Raija her husband Harri, her parents and an Aunt and Uncle.

16aug.JPGConfusion6 viewsWe weren't really in a hurry to leave the hotel as it was raining. We were lucky we heard later. Drove to Naantalli to get the boat to Kappelskaer, unfortuantely the passengerlist was full. we had to hurry to get to Turku to fetch the boat overthere.
At the terminal we once again met Ria, Hans-Peter and Richard.

17aug.JPGAlmost getting home3 viewsUnfortunately we couldn't get the boat of Naantalli-Kappelskaer. So we ended up in the traffic in Stockholm area. At least we had a bit fewer km's to do untill we would arrive in Gothenburg.

5aug.JPG2nd stage to Finland5 viewsStage 2 - Juterbog to Wolomin, roads were actually not too bad in Poland. Bad thing was that there was a lot of roadconstruction going on. Had some rain at the end and unfortunately arrived in the dark.

6aug.JPG3rd stage to Finland8 views3rd stage. Unfortunately the log is not complete. Had some navi trouble and that corrpted the GPS-logs, that is also the reason I miss some other days from this journey.
This stage was from Wolomin to Kaunas in Lithuania.

8aug.JPG5th stage to Finland9 viewsTrip from Riga to Tallin. Were driving along the Baltic Sea coastline. However we didn't really see that much of the sea. Whole coastline is covered by trees. So to see the sea you have to pull into a parkinglot and walk towards the sea.
